Tractor Attachments
The right attachment turns a standard garden tractor into a genuinely productive piece of equipment. Whether you are preparing soil, managing weight distribution, or expanding your tractor's lift capacity, Ruegg attachments are built to work with the hitch kits and drawbars we manufacture right here in Ohio. Every attachment in our lineup is designed for real-world use on residential properties and small farms, and every piece is made in the USA.
Attachments are available for both CAT 0 and CAT 1 configurations. If you have a Ruegg hitch kit already installed, most of our attachments will connect directly without additional adapters. If you have questions about compatibility, give us a call before placing your order.
Cultivators
Cultivator - CAT 0 — $349.00
The Ruegg CAT 0 cultivator is built for compact garden tractors running a Category 0 three-point hitch. It is a practical tool for breaking up compacted soil, working in fertilizer or compost, preparing seedbeds, and managing weeds between rows in established gardens. The cultivator mounts to your CAT 0 three-point hitch and raises and lowers with the tractor's hydraulic lift system.
This is a solid option for residential property owners who want to get more out of a compact John Deere garden tractor. The cultivator is sized for garden plots and smaller field areas rather than commercial-scale acreage.
-
Designed for CAT 0 three-point hitch systems
-
Compatible with Ruegg hitch kits for the 316, 318, 322, 330, 332, 420, and 430 series
-
Suitable for garden plots, flower beds, and small field preparation
-
Raises and lowers via the tractor's hydraulic system
Weight Brackets
Front weight brackets add ballast to the nose of your tractor, which helps maintain steering control and front-end contact when you are running heavy rear-mounted implements. Without adequate front ballast, a heavy three-point attachment can lift the front tires and reduce your ability to steer accurately.
Ruegg manufactures front weight brackets for several John Deere tractor models. Each bracket is model-specific for a clean fit.
318 Front Weight Bracket — $95.00
Engineered for the John Deere 318. Mounts to the front of the tractor to accept ballast weights and restore front-end balance when running rear implements.
420 Front Weight Bracket — $105.00
Built for the John Deere 420. Provides the same front ballast function as the 318 bracket in a configuration designed for the 420's front mounting geometry.
425/445/455 Front Weight Bracket — $120.00
Fits the 425, 445, and 455 series. If you have already installed a Ruegg three-point hitch kit on one of these models, a front weight bracket is the logical next addition for balanced operation with heavier implements.
Lift Arms & Yokes
Lift arms and yokes give you the lower link connections needed for your three-point hitch setup. These components are available separately for owners who need to replace worn parts or upgrade an existing hitch configuration.
CAT 0 Lift Arms — $145.00
Lower lift arms for Category 0 three-point hitch systems. Sold as a pair.
CAT 0 Lift Arms + Top Link — $165.00
CAT 0 lower lift arms bundled with a top link for a complete three-point connection set.
CAT 1 Lift Arms + Top Link — $205.00
CAT 1 lower lift arms with top link. The complete connection set for Category 1 hitch configurations.
2 Lift Yokes — $40.00
Replacement or upgrade lift yokes for three-point hitch systems. Sold as a pair.
2 Vertical Yokes — $80.00
Vertical yokes for hitch configurations that require vertical rather than angled lower link connections.
Other Attachments
Rear Blade - 4 ft — $215.00
A four-foot rear blade for grading gravel driveways, moving loose material, and leveling uneven ground. Mounts to the three-point hitch and adjusts for angle and depth.
Sleeve Hitch Adapter — $40.00
Allows sleeve hitch tractors to connect with standard three-point hitch implements. A practical option for older John Deere garden tractors that came factory-equipped with a sleeve hitch.
2" Receiver — $20.00
A standard 2-inch receiver hitch attachment for connecting trailers and equipment that use ball mount or receiver-style connections.
